Be Respectful of Others, Their Ideas and Opinions. We want our message board to portray a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, therefore any expression of racism, bigotry, obscenity or profanity will not be tolerated. In addition, personal attacks or “flames” (comments directed about a person rather than their experience or opinion) or a libelous (A statement that defames one's character or reputation or exposes one to public ridicule) remarks about individuals or companies will not be permitted.

Be Respectful of MemoryWorks. We provide a wonderful service to consultants by offering top-notch products, great product discount/commission and efficient consultant services with no minimums or requirements to meet. We work hard for you, therefore appreciate your support and polite consideration when making comments about our staff, policies, procedures or MemoryWorks in general.

Advertising Do’s and Don’ts. Although our message board is a community gathering to share our common ground interest for scrapbooking as MemoryWorks consultants, there are a few stipulations regarding advertising on the message board. Due to the fact that there are so many “gray” areas in the matter we have provided the following “do’s and don’ts” guidelines:

DON’T - Advertise or Promote Other Scrapbook Retailers. Although MemoryWorks is considered a direct sales retailer, we are still a scrapbook retailer and want the MemoryWorks website to be everyone’s first stop for scrapbook shopping! Please do not promote or advertise other scrapbook retailers or organizations sites, stores, links, discounts, sales, coupons or promotions to fellow consultants and message board members. This includes consultant message board signature lines, topic titles and body text of posts. The only exception is when providing a link to a layout posted on another site’s gallery for the purpose of sharing tips, ideas and suggestions for layout ideas using MemoryWorks products (This exception will only be effective until the MemoryWorks online idea gallery is implemented.)

DON’T - Solicit or Promote Other Direct Sales/Home Based Business. Although MemoryWorks does not enforce a non-compete policy and consultants are allowed to represent other direct sales businesses, please refrain from soliciting, recruiting or promoting your products or association with other home based or direct sales businesses - scrapbooking or non-scrapbooking related - to fellow consultants on the message board. This also includes consultant message board signature lines, topic titles and body text of posts.

DO – Promote Your MemoryWorks Business. You are more than welcome to announce and provide a link to your personal website featuring your MemoryWorks business. We love to support our consultants in their MemoryWorks business and would love to help spread the word to other consultants announcing your new MemoryWorks website. Or if you provide a service or product that relates directly to consultants and their MemoryWorks business, such as direct sales flyers, website services, customer newsletter services, etc. and would like to advertise your service on the message board please email the message group moderators for approval.

DO – Provide Links for Helpful Business Tools and Resources. We encourage you to share business and scrapbooking links and sources as long is it directly relates to consultants and their MemoryWorks venture, including, demonstrations, techniques, articles, business supplies, scrapbook project ideas, associations, online communities and resources that isn’t in association with a scrapbook retailer or competitive site. Links to MemoryWorks vendors, scrapbook communities (not a scrapbook retailer) or publishers/magazines are also allowed for the purpose of communicating upcoming contests, design team contests, articles, free resources, etc.
